Friday, the National Retail Federation (NRF) said that 70.1 million people plan to take advantage of 2010 Cyber Monday deals; Cyber Monday will take place on November 29, 2010 and it is the biggest online shopping day of the year.
Web retailers offer big discounts, free gift cards, and free shipping in order to tempt buyers to shop their website. Paypal showed a 25% increase on Thanksgiving Day this year over last year, and may be an indication of increases for 2010 Cyber Monday sales.
Friday, the National Retail Federation (NRF) said that they expect internet deals for Cyber Monday will be more aggressive in 2010. NRF also said that an estimated 88% of retailers will have special deals specifically for Cyber Monday, and an estimated 70.1 million people will shop onCyber Monday.
